How the corona virus affected medieval Europe?

Many people are comparing the COVID-19 coronavirus to the Black Death of the Middle Ages. It seems that COVID-19 is less fatal, the corona virus has a mortality rate of only around 5%, compared to the plague's mortality rate of 75-200% (meaning the plague killed more than the population at the time). Nevertheless, the plague had a very large impact on medieval Europe, changing everything from religion to economics to social norms. If COVID-19 continues to spread and is as widespread as the plague was, how will it change the world?
