People always complain how sex education classes aren't comprehensive enough but I really don't understand why we should teach young adults how to have intercourse when a significant portion of them will never have a partner or will be sexually inactive for the rest of their lives. I'm not saying we should completely erase any reference to it but let's be honest: not everyone will be sexually active in their life, so why not tailor the classes more on safer sex for those who are and other important information that will be useful no matter if you're sexually active or not? It just makes much more sense to me than teaching kids how to fuck. I also wonder if this is another case of adults speaking for kids and trying to shape their experience without actually asking them what they would like.
