I was creeping my boyfriend. He didn’t even notice.

My boyfriend and I were living in a new house that my dad bought for us. It was a great house, a 3 bedroom with a big back yard and an outdoor pool. I was 22 and my boyfriend was 25. We had been dating for about 2 yrs and living in that house for about a year. We were doing okay, my boyfriend was working a lot, and I was doing remote freelance work. <br><br><br>This house was a little creepy to me, mostly because it was so big and empty. But I had been doing a lot of freelance work in the past year, so the quiet was nice. I was pretty comfortable in the house until I realized that I wasn’t alone. <br><br>I have always been sensitive to people's energies, and I have felt people lurking around me since I was a kid. But I felt it more in the new house. A lot more. Whenever my boyfriend was home, I felt people had been there, but I didn’t really see any evidence. But when my boyfriend went on a trip, I saw a girl in my living room. It was in the middle of the night, and I was going to the kitchen for water. I saw a girl just standing in the living room, doing nothing. I couldn’t say for sure, but I thought she had a red dress on. I didn’t want to talk to her, so I went back to bed. <br><br><br>The next night, I went for water again, but I was prepared. I had my phone charging in my bedroom, so I turned off the lights in the living room and stood in the hallway. I waited there for about an hour, and then I saw the girl again. She was standing in the same spot, still doing nothing. I was curious, so I asked who she was and what she was doing there. I asked out loud, and she didn’t answer me. I asked her how she got into my house, and again, she didn’t answer. <br><br><br>Then I asked her how long she had been there, and she answered. She said she had been living in the house for 20 yrs. I thought this was weird, but I was curious, so I asked her what happened to her. She didn’t answer me. I was getting a little annoyed, so I asked her who she was and what she wanted. She didn’t answer me, and she looked at me for the first time. I thought she might be a little mad at me, so I went back to bed.<br><br><br>The next day, I called my dad and told him that I had seen a girl in my house. He thought I was being paranoid, so he told me I should get a camera system and get a gun. I got a camera system, but I didn’t get a gun. I didn't feel threatened by the girl, I just thought something was off.<br><br><br>I have been doing a lot of research trying to figure out who the girl is. I looked up the history of the house, and I found out that a family lived there for 20 yrs. I looked up the family's name, and I found the family's history. They were a pretty normal family with a dad, a mom, and a teenage daughter. The dad and mom were still alive, but they had moved away. They had two daughters, one was older, and she was married with kids. But the other daughter was my age, and I couldn’t find anything about her. <br><br>I thought that might be the girl I had seen. But I couldn’t confirm it. I wanted to confirm, so I called the dad. He picked up the phone, and I told him that I had seen a girl in my house. He asked if she was wearing a red dress. When I said she was, he told me that his daughter was named Lily. He said Lily had been living in the house for 20 yrs, and that she disappeared 5 yrs ago. The police didn’t find her, and he assumed she was dead. <br><br><br>I told him that she might still be alive. He said he would come over and see her. I said that might be a bad idea. I didn’t want to upset her, but he said he was coming over. So I waited for him in my living room, and about an hour later, he got there. He was in his 60s and he looked a little sick. When he saw the girl in the living room, he started shaking and crying. He called out to her, and she looked at him. He told her that he had been looking for her everywhere, and that he was so happy to see her. She just looked at him.<br><br><br>He tried to hug her, but she looked confused. He said he had missed her so much, and asked her why she didn’t answer his calls. She just said that she was mad at him. He asked what he did, and she said he killed her mom. He said that wasn’t true, and she said it was true. She said that she saw him kill her mom, and he said that wasn’t true. He said he loved Lily and her mom, and he would never hurt them. Lily said that he did hurt them, and he said he would never hurt her. She said okay, and he hugged her again. She hugged him back.<br><br><br>That was it. He left, and Lily stayed in the house. I didn’t see much of her after that.
