So I got my student teacher today, and I'm scared

So I'm a 2nd year teacher, with two years of LTI under my belt going into this. I've been lucky enough to work in schools (and I'm not joking) where kids are absolutely phenomenal. I've only has 2 kids I couldn't stand, and that was because of the parents.

Today, I got my student teacher, and she's going to be staying with me until the spring. I'm not sure if she's coming from a rougher school or not, but I am terrified of what a change this will be for her to my school.

Kids have already started to pick up on stuff that I was able to fly under the radar with with my mentor teacher. For example, my mentor teacher was amazing, but really lazy with planning. She told me that she only planned for 8/10 subjects, and I was amazing with planning, so I did those two every single day. Now, students are catching on that my plans are way better than my mentors, and going to the principal/other teachers to say how lucky they are to have me (very heartwarming, but also stressful).

Kids have also caught onto the fact that I am more laid back than my mentor teacher was. I don't punish kids, because I don't want them not to like me. This was fine at my old school, as kids didn't take advantage of it, but at this school kids already want to walk all over me.

I'm really worried that my student teacher is going to struggle with adapting to this student population. I'm wondering if anybody has any advice on how to prepare her for this. I want to make sure that she is as happy as possible, but I'm not sure how to do that with kids who have really high needs.
