I wanted to share something with fellow Hindus.
I recently moved to a different city for studies.
The regular opiniion of any hindus here is "I am not Hindu. I am just spiritual"
"If you are proud of your opressors then you are opressed"

This city is like hell for hindus. Just imagine that one community here forces every one else to eat only vegetables, ban religous marriage ceremonies in open nature, opress regular hindus in opiniion forming fields (media, debate etc).

But when you ask them their religion they just say that they are just spiritual. They only give importance to themselves and their religion.

For example:
Having sex is bad.
You can't even tell the truth

Why should i care about their opinion on this?

They are not a majority. I don't care about what they think. I don't give a shit when they say "hate speech"

Edit: It is not the only community here. They have formed a network and are trying to restrict plurality of hinduism even more.

When you call yourself spiritual you are hindu as much as you are a muslim as much as you are a sikh (or any other religion).
