AITA for telling my husband his involvement in his daughter's recipe could affect their relationship?

My wife has a large online following for her baking. She has been doing this for years and I have been super supportive of her. I even have my own account on the same platform where I post my son's drawings.

A few days ago, my wife posted a recipe and at the end she tagged another account, which belonged to a 13-year-old girl. My wife was surprised that a child was also into baking and wanted to give her a chance.

Now, to make a long story short, the recipe was copied from one of my wife's older posts. She took the girl under her wing and showed her how to give proper credit, and they changed the post to add the proper credit. The girl didn't get in trouble, but she was taught a valuable lesson by my wife.

Well, the girl's father found out and had a meeting with his daughter and my wife. Turns out, he and my wife have something in common. They both post recipes, and they know each other from that platform. In fact, they have met in person at events.

The girl's father accused my wife of "teaching her dirty tricks" and how she stole other people's content in the past. He said she "groomed" his daughter into doing something wrong. Then, he went on a rant about how my wife has stolen people's recipes in the past. I reminded him that she properly credits the original owners, but that didn't fly.

He said my wife's behavior could affect their relationship and accused her of showing him up. He basically said that because my wife posts recipes and they know each other, she should have known better than to do something like that to him.

I stepped in and reminded him that his daughter is old enough to take responsibility for her actions, and that my wife didn't do anything wrong. I even offered to have my wife delete the post, but he declined, saying that wouldn't fix anything.

After we parted ways, I told my wife she shouldn't have tagged him in the updated post with the proper credit, as it could cause more problems in the future and make him harbor a grudge. She was angry at me for putting her own interests first and said I was being petty.
