Well,Well,Well, did you hear about the girl who died from the Christmas Eve storm

The first Christmas Eve storm in the North East in 100 years was a bad storm.<br><br>It was the first time a lot of municipal services will be closed for Christmas.<br><br>So I'm guessing the services are unstaffed.<br><br>I'm guessing the men will just stay home and not clear the snow and save a few hundred thousand on overtime.<br><br>It was Christmas Eve, a lot of people would have normally stayed home to spend time with their families, did they loose power?<br><br>They lost power for hours, it was 30 degrees outside, how many died? 10, 20, 100?<br><br>I know in my town at least 1 old man died from hypothermia.<br><br>I know the power went out 11 pm on Christmas morning and returned 9 am boxing day.<br><br>I know we have wind chill warnings on boxing day, like our leaders know the shit storm they just created.<br><br>But the media and the leaders are silent about this, they will deny it happened.<br><br>They are trying to make this go away.<br><br>I'm just a nosy old woman.<br><br>I want to know how many people died, in my county, in my state, in the USA, in the world.<br><br>I want to know, how this could have been avoided, and why it wasn't.<br><br>I want to know how many would have been saved, if only they had not been so cheap.<br><br>I want the list, I have a list of killed, of the fallen.<br><br>How many more to add to my list?
