Was anyone here in the US an adult in the 90s and early 2000s? Could you describe what it was like to live in the US at that time?

I was a kid in the 90s but I cant get over the huge difference in society since I was in high school in the early 2000s. I am genuinely curious what it was like, especially in larger cities. <br><br>Was it really as great as when I got out of high school and the world seemed so much more innocent?
