I stole a painting at a silent auction

I went to a silent auction at a gallery to view some art. I was very broke at the time, so I wasn't looking to buy anything, just wanted to look. The paintings were sitting on easels, and people were walking around silently. It was super quiet and quaint.<br><br>I saw one painting that was absolutely beautiful. I decided that I had to have it. I walked over, picked it up, and walked to the back of the gallery. I set it on the floor, and stood in front of it for a second. Nobody had noticed. I put it under my jacket and walked out. I got in my car and drove home, never looking back.<br><br>I still have that painting.
