They try to make us feel guilty for defending ourselves

I'm seeing a lot of shit in the US media about how we "killed" 15,000+ innocent civilians. <br><br>I want to share a quick story that changed my outlook on this whole situation. <br><br>In the 1980s, a plane flew into a tower in Canada. I think it was a plane full of people that was highjacked? Nonetheless, the plane crashed into a building where a number of people were doing their government jobs or whatever. <br><br>A friend of mine was doing some archive work for work, and he found a mention of this incident in a newspaper. <br><br>A Canadian outlet ran the following headline: <br><br>"A plane crashed into a building, killing x civilians, x Government employees, and x terrorists." <br><br>He told me that he can't remember the exact numbers, but those were the ones who died. <br><br>All of those innocents were lumped in with the terrorists. <br><br>The Canadian citizens and government employees who died in this incident weren't up for debate. <br><br>My friend told me that there was never any debate, nor any real pressure, for Canada to make a change in their political or socioeconomic policies to stop these terrorist attacks. <br><br>In fact, the media was more outraged over the situation than the government. <br><br>A plane crashed into a building, killing x civilians, x government employees, and x terrorists. <br><br>In Israel, we're often if not always portrayed as these occupation monsters with no regard for human life. <br><br>So now, when a plane crashes into a tower, killing x civilians, x government employees, and x terrorists...we're the ones who get blamed for the death toll. As if we crashed the plane. <br><br>Remember that. <br><br>When you see a headline saying that we killed over 15,000 civilians, what they're really saying is: <br><br>A plane crashed into a tower, killing x civilians, x government employees, and x terrorists. <br><br>But for some reason, WE'RE the terrorists.
