I am in the early stages of developing a full fictional language, and I think I have made a mistake. Any advice?

I know that a full fiction language is a daunting task and that I may never finish it, but I want to try anyway. I am in the early stages of planning and research after having kept the idea to myself for a while, and I think I am now seeing a mistake so serious that not only will it force me to limit the completeness of the language, but also call the validity of even having this project into question. I have been inspired by the grammar and syntax of Turkish and Korean, which I think have both created a system that I think is effective at conveying meaning and that I would like to use. However, I now realize that by combining these systems, I will not actually be able to create the language as its own entity. Instead, I am now creating a fusion language that is partially Turkish and partially Korean. I am excited about the idea of a true fusion language, but I feel that in having this project I have been disingenuous. Although I am now certain that I can create the language that I have envisioned, I can no longer call it a true fictional language, and I feel that everyone following this project has been misled. I no longer see any way for me to create the fictional language I have envisioned, and I think that it may be time to call it quits. Do you have any advice?

TLDR: I am developing a fictional language with the grammar of Turkish and the syntax of Korean. Do you think that the fact that it is a fusion language would constitute fraud?
