Pro Wrestling is Anime in the real world

Just finished watching the Wrestling show AEW All Out and I need to express that Pro Wrestling is often more amazing than most animes. The storytelling, the theatrics, the insane athleticism, the characters, the crowd's energy and participation. It's all there.

AEW All Out had amazing matches but what stood out this time was the narrative. The Elite (Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and Connor Menard and Danhausen) VS Blackpool Combat Club: Jon Mox and Claudio, and BCC's allies Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Eddie Kingston.

The Elite are the faces, the heroes, and they're taking on the BCC who are the heels. The villainous MJF is by the Elite's side and he's a wild card as always.

The match was back and forth, fun, chaotic, and the crowd was absolutely hyped. It was like watching an anime fight and the people cheering on the heroes. It was insane to see the athleticism and the brutal spots they took during the match.

I'd recommend giving these shows a try. They are absolutely entertaining and there are a lot of shows to choose from like WWE Smackdown and RAW. But I think the storytelling is more consistent in AEW.

EDIT: Also what might interest you guys is that Cody Rhodes, one of the faces of AEW, is part of the Rhodes Wrestling family who owned several territories in the US and Japan. His dad, Dusty Rhodes, was a star wrestler in the 80s in Japan.

So there's a connection to the Japanese Pro Wrestling scene as well.
