Can anyone show me something that I would see in an average American day that would make me afraid even though it’s normal?

I live in the U.K. but have heard the U.S. can be a very weird and even creepy place so if you did some research or just know something tell me.<br><br>Edit: I know that I come across as a stereotype but I hope that’s okay.
