Google is introducing a generative AI chatbot called Gemini, which it says will be 'by far the most powerful AI chatbot yet.'

Gemini is being created in partnership with artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, which is backed and advised by Google.<br><br>Gemini “will be by far the most powerful chatbot yet,” Jensen Huang, CEO of chipmaker Nvidia, said at the company’s AI developer conference in Long Beach, California.<br><br>Gemini is seen as central to Google’s plan to position itself as a leader in the rapidly advancing field of artificial intelligence.<br><br>Chief Executive Sundar Pichai told employees that Gemini is the next “major breakthrough” in Google’s AI research.<br><br>Gemini is set to be launched first as a new research-focused language model called Gemini Base.
