Throwaway account, wife aware.

UPDATE:
She’s alive and safe. She just upped and left to go live with my ex mother and biological father. My wife told my mother that she’s pregnant and I (her husband) is not the father. She’s been in bed crying, non-stop, for the last two days. I’m at a loss of what to do.

I have a 4 year old son with her. We’ve been married for three years and together for five. We were trying to get pregnant again (we tried for years to get our first child).

One of the most puzzling things was that when my wife and mother were discussing my impending divorce, my mother said, “what are we going to tell the kids?” (I have a 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son).

My son says, “yeah, I’ll tell them that I already have a step dad and a step mom.”

Then my mother said, “how do you feel about having a little sister or brother?”

My daughter said, “yeah, we already have three step-sisters, two step-brothers, and a half-sister.”

My son says, “yeah, I already have three dads and two moms.”

I don’t know what to do. I’m a wreck. I need help. I thought my wife loved me. I thought I did everything right for her. I just don’t know what to do.

****END UPDATE****

My son graduates from preschool tomorrow and my wife hasn’t come home since our huge fight last night.

My son (4 years, M) goes to sleep around 6pm and wakes up at 10pm asking for mommy. We called her phone and there’s no answer, voicemail is full. I’m starting to get a little nervous as she’s never done this before.

I call her best friends phone, it goes straight to voicemail. No answer, no call back.

I call her mothers phone, but she won’t talk to me ever since she found out I’m not actually Christian, I’m actually pagan (I’m German and this is a big deal to them as they see paganism as demonic).

I call her fathers phone and leave a message stating that I haven’t seen her since our morning kiss goodbye. No answer, no call back.

At 2am my son is still awake and asking for mommy. I called every hospital, police department, and ambulance service in our area (I’m in a small, German, Midwestern town) and nobody has seen or heard anything.

At 10am comes and there’s still no sign of my wife. No calls, no texts, no emails. We had a fight, like we sometimes do, but I didn’t think it was that bad. She goes to work, I go to work.

10am and it’s time to go to the preschool graduation. My son is excited. I called my wife phone repeatedly. I called her best friends phone repeatedly. I called her parents phones repeatedly. There is no answer and no call back.

I tell my son that mommy is probably at work. He’s too young to remember my son’s mother so my boy sometimes forgets that mommy doesn’t actually work, she just goes to the spa and coffee shop.

We arrive at the preschool graduation and there’s no mommy.

I call her phone, again.

Text, “where are you sweetheart? Please call me.”

I call her best friends phone, again.

Text, “Hey, I haven’t seen my wife since I kissed her goodbye this morning. Have you talked to her? Please call me.”

I call her mother’s phone, again.

I call her father’s phone, again.

No answer, no call back, no text.

I call every hospital again, no answers.

I call every police department again, no answers.

I call every ambulance service again, no answers.

The preschool graduation ends. My son is excited.

We arrive at home. No wife.

I call the local taxi services and she’s not there.

I call the local uber services and she’s not there.

I call the local bus service and she’s not there.

I call the airport and she’s not there. Train station, not there.

I call her credit card companies, her bank, our bank, her loan companies. She’s not in any debt so I don’t think it’s that.

I call our therapist, he’s not seen her today and doesn’t know where she is.

I call her previous employers and they haven’t seen her in years.

I call her previous school and she’s not there.

I call her previous gym and they haven’t seen her in years.

I call her previous church and she’s not there.

I called everyone I know and nobody has seen or heard from her.

I report her to the missing and exploited, to the missing person’s report, and to the endangered person’s report.

I hire a private investigator, a search and rescue, and a professional missing person’s investigator.

I search all of her social media and there’s nothing.

I check all of her email accounts and there’s nothing.

I check her phone bill and there’s no calls or texts to anyone.

I search every inch of our house, there’s no suicide notes, no hate notes, no notes of any kind.

As the day ends and there’s still no sign of my wife. I look at my son and he’s still asking for mommy.

I call her phone, again.

Text, “where are you sweetheart? Please call me.”

I call her best friends phone, again.

Text, “Hey, I haven’t seen my wife since I kissed her goodbye this morning. Have you talked to her? Please call me.”

I call her best friends phone, again.

Text, “Hey, I haven’t seen my wife since I kissed her goodbye this morning. Have you talked to her? Train station, not there.

I call her credit card companies, her bank, our bank, her loan companies. She’s not in any debt so I don’t think it’s that.

I call our therapist, he’s not seen her today and doesn’t know where she is.

I call her previous employers and they haven’t seen her in years.

I call her previous school and she’s not there.

I call her previous gym and they haven’t seen her in years.

I call her previous church and she’s not there.

I called everyone I know and nobody has seen or heard from her.

We are a small town (~60k people) and everybody knows everybody, or their families know each other.

My wife is a twin and her sister has two children, living with her boyfriend, and they all live together in a large ass, six bedroom, four bathroom house, on ~21 acres of land. They have chickens, cows, pigs, and a grazing field for the cows.

My wife is best friends with her sister’s boyfriends sister.

I, myself, am best friends with my wife’s uncle’s wife’s son.

My wife is also best friends with my wife’s uncle’s wife’s daughter.

As a family, we are all quite close. (Edit: my wife’s family is close to themselves, I am not part of the family as I am a pagan, “devil worshiper.”)

So as I sit here, alone, exhausted, with my son sleeping next to me, I just don’t know what to do.

I
