I hate how women get away with hit and run.

My friend was driving a few states over and was tailgating on the highway. He was going about 60mph, when he lost control of his car. His tires hit the rumble strips, and his car hopped onto the shoulder. In an attempt to get back on the road, he lost control of the car and went into oncoming traffic. He T-boned a station wagon with a family in it.

He panicked, got back on the highway, and sped off. He didn't make it that far before the police pulled him over. They towed his car and charged him with a hit and run. He was sentenced to a few years in prison. He had to pay thousands of dollars in fines and court fees.

Fast forward three years. I'm driving down the highway and came across a news report on the radio. "WOMAN GETS MINIMUM SENTENCE AFTER KILLING FAMILY IN HIT AND RUN". I was dumbfounded. I looked up the story and it was even worse than what the radio made it seem. A young woman was texting and driving down the highway and drifted into oncoming traffic. She ran head on into a family's station wagon and killed both parents and their kids. She panicked and fled the scene. The police tracked her down at home using security footage. She was only given a few years in prison. She had to pay only $2500.

My friend killed nobody and got multiple years, while a young woman kills an entire family and gets away with a slap on the wrist.

Unbelievable
