First off, please clarify if you think any part of my argument is flawed. My entire argument is based on my half-baked analysis of available data and might inherently be flawed in some way.

Now onto the argument.

I think there is a general trend among Indians of joining the "brain drain" to move to America and settle. While this might be a personal choice for many, this suddenly spiked and slowed only after the Covid-19 situation. This very recent wave of immigrants is inevitably going to be a burden on American society, at least for the next few decades.

Immigrants take a lot of time to settle in and become productive members of society. The amount of time that this takes is largely uncertain, and depends on a variety of factors like education, skills, motivation, initial social and economic status, etc. If we ignore the large amounts of paperwork and documentation that the government has to handle, and the large amounts of time taken for the immigrants to process and understand American society, we can see how recent immigrants inevitably end up as a burden on the economy.

Recent immigrants inevitably take up low-paying jobs and often live in large groups together in housing that is often not the best, where they inevitably form ghettos or whatever you want to call it. This often leads to an unhealthy clumping of a large immigrant population in a small area, often taking up valuable real estate that native-born citizens can no longer afford.

While some immigrants inevitably integrate into society and make valuable contributions, the amount of contribution they make is often less than the amount of resources they use up. This is not FUD, but just my analysis of data that is available online.

The burden caused by immigrants is often not accounted for in the various statistics that are available. For instance, the amount of time that members of society take up to create jobs and opportunities for the immigrants is not accounted for in the economic data. The amount of time that the police and the justice system has to spend on immigrants is also not accounted for.

While it is not reasonable to expect that immigrants are going to be some kind of societally-aware super humans that put society before themselves as soon as they enter a new country, recent immigrants inevitably take time to adjust to this new awareness, and inevitably create a burden until they get to such a point.

This burden is inevitable with every recent immigrant wave, and is not exclusive to Indians or Asian immigrants.

EDIT: Let me clarify, I'm Indian and I have nothing against Indians. I merely believe that recent immigrants inevitably form clumps that inevitably burden society in a way that is not accounted for in data. I specifically want to know if there is anything flawed in my argument. Please do point out and I'll try to address it to the best of my capability.
