My wife and her 'new' body

My wife (34) just had a baby at the beginning of November and she's gone from a size 2 to a 12. She's never been skinny, but always pretty fit. Up until last week, she would always wear extra large shirts and jackets because she wanted to cover herself up.<br><br>One day last week, she came home from the store with a bag of old band tees. It's been cold here, so we've had the heat running. She's been wearing a black metal band tee with no bra, sweatpants, and a cardigan. I've never seen her so self-assured. She's so excited to finally show off her figure. And I'm excited to see it.<br><br>We had a good conversation last night about body image and how she wants our daughter to grow up in a household that doesn't shame or fear weight gain. And I couldn't agree more.<br><br>I know this isn't really what this sub is for, but I just wanted to express how happy I am that my wife has finally found confidence in her own skin.
