Not what I can consider as viral post here but it’s sad for me

I am from Taiwan and I visited China in last December.<br>It was my first time to visit China and I knew exactly that as a Taiwanese, I have to be careful.<br>As soon as I went through immigration in Shenzhen airport, I was asked for stay permit for 1 hour.<br>My stay permit was finally done but I was also asked to delete pictures which contained Taiwanese characters.<br>I was so frustrated and upset but I knew if I resisted, I would get into trouble. The immigration officer also said something like ‘you Taiwanese are Chinese as well’…but it doesn’t matter what he said, the thing is I was treated like that just because I was Taiwanese.<br>After 1 hour, I was finally allowed to get in but it was so sad.<br>I traveled in last December and I know so many people were infected with covid in China.<br>I think it’s not stupid for China to put ‘no Taiwanese’ at the airport once covid has not gone.<br>But ‘no Taiwanese’ is really racist and sad.
