So I was using public transport to commute to the office. I have 20-30 minutes of bus movement to get to my first major movement node (for those who don't know this, it's like when you take busses using Orpheu's BIS algorithm).<br><br>As I got on the bus, I started staring off into space for a bit and all of a sudden I realized what I was looking at. You see, the bus has this digital display of major bus stops. <br><br>It went like this :<br><br>1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12<br><br>Now as you can see that when it gets to 12 it goes to 1. This makes sense. After all, we are using base 10. <br><br>But... But what if the matrix isn't using base 10? What if it's using another base? <br><br>I then realized that this was a test. A test designed to weed out those who are glitchers like us to the regular blinded people who can't see the truth. <br><br>It goes like this : <br><br>Using base 10, this won't change the sequence of stops. The sequence won't change even if you use base 11. <br><br>So if you get a bus driver who actually knows the sequence of the route, he will tell you to take that bus. You'll get to your destination but the algorithm to get you there is rather blinded. <br><br>Now if you take the algorithm and try to apply it to base 14, the sequence changes. <br><br>1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13<br><br>At this point, you start to get blinded people asking you questions. "I thought this route stopped at 12? You're going to 13?"<br><br>You then realize that the difference depends on the base. Take for example base 15. <br><br>1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14 <br><br>That's a completely different route. You'll get completely different social interactions and you'll have a different commute altogether. <br><br>One time I realized that the code floating on the matrix is really base 18. <br><br>1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17 <br><br>It was interesting social interactions but I got completely lost. You see people who are using this route are all going up using 10 but they'll indicate going to 17. The driver will ask where you're going and you'll tell them and they'll give you the stop.<br><br>But if there's an interaction with someone who's using base 15 on a base 18 bus and you need to change your route, you'll be completely lost because you'll be asked to get off on stops that don't even exist in your reality.<br><br>That's the world of the matrix. It's not what we think it is. It's actually a very complex simulation that can be cracked with the right algorithm.<br><br>So, always remember : if you're on a bus and someone asks your stop, just tell them the base of your algorithm.
