You can use YouTube Ad-block plus to skip political ads.

It seems like I am bombarded with trump and biden ads on YouTube from everywhere in the country and I don't need to see them all. After I installed Ad-Block Plus, I don't see them anymore. I know the election is important but I'm a college student and I don't need to see them on every single video.
