I stole over $50,000 worth of food from various restaurants I worked at.

Never caught, never fired. Always a thief.<br><br>Edit: Holy crap this blew up. Look, there’s always gonna be people who will steal. I used to steal because I needed to. Now a portion of my employees steal because they can. I don’t condone it, but I also don’t think it makes them bad people. I’m willing to take the hit for it because let’s be real, you can’t stop someone who truly wants to. If you want to truly stop theft, pay your employees better. <br><br>Edit2: I’m not condoning it. I’m just saying I know why people do it. It’s hard as hell to make ends meet. I would also like to say, I’m not calling all restaurant employees thieves. Just like any line of work 5-10% will be shady, and as a manager, it’s your job to not hire those people. Also if you are an employee who is stealing food, just please don’t get me hit for that shit. <br><br>Edit3: Look folks, obviously not all fast food employees steal. I personally didn’t start stealing until I was in management. I was just trying to get by in life and no help. Also, I realize not everyone steals, but let’s not act like it doesn’t exist. It’s truly not that big of a deal. Also to all the fast food workers, you don’t have to defend yourselves so much lol. No one should have to defend themselves for a job. I appreciate it. To answer the popular questions;<br>1. Yes, I am a manager for a fast food restaurant. Been in the industry for over 14 years. <br>2. No, I do not steal from my restaurant now. I’m not in need and I have dedicated employees. Also the owner is like a father to me.<br>3. I’m not calling all employees thieves. It’s just a small handful that will and do. In fact, a lot of my employees would tell me about coworkers that are stealing and would not participate themselves. <br>4. Yes, I work in the fast food industry. I have since I was 16. <br>5. No one is truly irreplaceable, but my employees are my family. <br>6.
