CMV: NSFW comments should all be hidden by default on all posts that are not exclusively for 18+ content

As the title says, I think that NSFW comments should be hidden by default on posts that are not exclusively for 18+ content. For example, on posts in subreddits with an adult theme (e.g. r/roastme, r/AmItheAsshole, r/TrueOffMyChest, r/AskReddit, etc.) there should be no NSFW comments visible, even to users older than 18. If someone wants to see an NSFW comment, they can click on it to reveal the contents. Similarly, NSFW content should not be listed in the "Controversial" tab for a subreddit, even if the comment is very highly-upvoted. For example, this post was in the top 5 of the controversial tab for r/AskTeenGirls, and it has nothing to do with the topic of the post. The mods removed it and banned the user after I brought it to their attention, but the fact that someone can go on a subreddit for 13-18 year olds and find comments with porn links in the top 5 of the controversial tab is completely absurd.

There should be no NSFW comments on posts that are not exclusively for adult content. It's disturbing to me that the NSFW filter only hides NSFW comments from users under 18. If a post is not for adult content, then it should not have any NSFW comments on it, and it doesn't matter what the age of the viewer is. If a post is for adult content, and the user is over 18, then they can view the NSFW content. But if a post is not for adult content, then NSFW content should never be visible, even to users over 18.

This is especially a problem for subreddits for young people, like r/AskTeenGirls, r/AskTeenBoys, r/teenagers, r/teengirlprobs, r/roosterteeth, r/girlswhosmoke, r/boyswhosmoke, etc. There is no reason why any of these types of subreddits should allow porn links and NSFW comments in the first place. But even if a subreddit does allow NSFW content, it should be in the form of a self-post with the NSFW tag, not hidden in the comments of a completely unrelated post.

I also want to mention that hiding NSFW content in the comments of a post like this is a way to bypass the "Don't Do This" filter. It's called "sexualizing minors" and it's heavily penalized by Reddit, but a lot of the comments in the link above are literally sexualizing minors. It's true that the mod removed the comment and banned the user after I reported it, but the fact that this kind of thing can be posted in the first place is ridiculous. The only reason that the content is hidden is that it wouldn't bypass the filter if it were a self-post.

CMV

Edit: To clarify, I'm talking about comments with porn links (e.g. doctored underage images, AI-generated porn, porn category links, etc.) as being the biggest problem. I'm not saying that ALL NSFW content should be removed from ALL subreddits. I am saying that subreddits that are not exclusively for 18+ content should not have porn links, and if a subreddit does allow adult content, then that content should only be allowed in the form of a self-post (not comments) with the NSFW tag.
