I’m a dual US Israeli citizen. If you are going to place blame for this issue, don’t point the finger at Israel.

What are you guys talking about? Do you honestly think that the US doesn’t participate in wars for oil? I can’t list all the times we’ve done that right here but hello, Iraq still exists. <br><br>If we have an issue right now with Palestine, point the finger at Hamas. Israel is a democracy. We can point fingers at the administration right now, but a majority really does care about it’s citizens. Hamas welcomed back a large group of terrorists from jails who were serving life sentences for crimes like murder. They have made it very clear time and time again they want Israel dead and gone. I really can’t be more clear about this- Israel doesn’t want to fight it’s neighbors. We never have. We were kicked out of our own land, and before we were ever given a chance to build our new home we were attacked from all sides. <br><br>The fact you can point at Israel and call it a terrorist state is disgusting. You can disagree with the politics of Israel, you can disagree with the actions of our politicians (and I do too). But if you’ve done any sort of research and still think Israel is terrorists, you’re wrong. We want peace. We’ve offered multiple times to help Palestine, and they’ve rejected.<br><br>If you want to know why Israel isn’t the terrorist state you’ve been taught it is: the IDF is the only military in the world that warns the citizens of a town of an oncoming attack so they can evacuate. I was on a base last year and heard a siren go off and we had to evacuate for a rocket shot by Hamas. The military doesn’t get there to take homes away from innocent people. If they are in a home already taken over by terrorists, then yes, they die too. But we do everything we can to warn our neighbors so they can evacuate. We don’t want to see innocents die. We don’t want to fight the neighbors we would rather be friends with. <br><br>Please, do your research. Please. Don’t be swayed by headlines and the news without finding the real reason behind the attacks.<br><br>Edit: thank you for the awards!
