Wear a sock on your hand to keep a dog from barking when you are in it’s yard

My puppy is already sniffing the sock so I don’t think this will last long.<br>But walking through and a damn dog is barking at you and you are in a no hurry situation.<br>The sock on your hand makes the dog think you have a treat for it.<br><br>Edit:<br>Oh my the replies I am getting. <br><br>One lady said that if she were in her yard and saw a man walking through it...and she thought the man was wearing a sock on his hand she damn well would bark! That is why, mail. <br><br>And I was a mailman for 3 months and I had an injury. So now I’m not. But the sock thing worked pretty good.
