My dad, who has been gone for six years now, was born in 1906. My mother was born in 1909. She also is now deceased. I recall as a kid my father telling me about when he was 12 years old and on the family farm in Missouri. He said that one day he was out in the fields getting some watermelon for lunch. He said it was a hot summer day. He saw a beautiful young girl standing up in an apple tree. She was covered up by a skirt, but from the waist up she was totally naked. He said that he was so surprised that he just froze up and paid attention. He said that this girl had a reddish-brown hair and nice size breasts. He said that he had never seen a lady's breasts before that day. He said that he just stared and stared.

He said that he stayed there for a minute or two. He said that he continued to pick watermelon. What he didn't know was that he was stared at as well. He said that later on that day he came back to get two more watermelons. As he approached the apple tree, he noticed that the girl was still in the tree. He said that he again stopped and froze up. He said that he stared up at her for a minute or two. He said that he felt that she noticed him again. He said that she smiled at him. He said that he felt embarrassed and he just ran on back to the house.

He said that he stayed in the house the rest of the day. He said that he couldn't get that young lady out of his mind. He said that he continued to go out to the fields for years later, but he never saw her again. He said that he never forgot that girl. He said that she was forever etched in his mind. He said that he would never ever forget her smile. He said that he loved that girl for the rest of his life.

He said that she was a ghost and he knew it. He said that he was surprised to see that she didn't have that ghostly look. He said that she was just beaming with light. He said that he would never ever forget that young lady. He said that he loved her forever.

He said that he would never ever stop thinking about her.

Oh, By the way, the apple tree she was in was cut down in 1927.
