I was let go from my job today because of a post I made on Facebook. I’m a preschool teacher btw. The post was screen shotted and sent around to teachers, parents, and administration. <br><br>The post I made was on a video of Joe Biden giving a speech. I work in a small town in the south and the Facebook algorithm is crazy. I don’t even see many posts from people I’m friends with. Anyway, I made a comment on a post that said “Thank God we can finally go back to having a normal president”. Then someone replied and said “You mean one that doesn’t start a riot at the capital, or says stand back and stand by, or constantly lies and makes up shit, or is being investigated for corruption by 4 different agencies, or is being sued by over 20 different women for sexual assault, or is under investigation for tax fraud by the Manhattan DA and NY state attorney general, or is constantly tweeting out hate and division, or is a draft dodger that claimed bone spurs and is actually a 5 time coward, or is being sued for false advertising and scamming by 3 different states, or is a racist that has called countries “shitholes” or called NFL players sons of bitches, or claims that the noise from windmills causes cancer when in actuality the synthetic erection pills he takes causes impotence and ED, or hires a pedophile as his top advisor, or says that he will just grab a woman by the pussy, or calls john McCain a loser that he doesn’t like because he was a POW (prisoner of war), or calls a US marine a loser for getting his head blown off by a sniper, or calls a black American football player a son of a bitch for kneeling during the national anthem, or says that he knows more than all of the generals and admirals that have served this nation and country for decades and are decorated war heroes, or claims that he is the chosen one from God, or claims that he is a genius and a stable genius at that, or hires a convicted pedophile to work with teenagers in the White House, or says that he would date his own daughter if he wasn’t her father, or says that he wants to bang a 10 year old girl when she grows up, or spends his time on Twitter to try and humiliate his opponents instead of doing his job of leading the country, or constantly interrupted a female presidential candidate at the debate and called her a nasty woman, or is on his 3rd wife and paid off a porn star and a Playboy bunny to keep quiet about the fact that he cheated on his wife with them, or was sued for housing discrimination because he is a racist and wouldn’t rent his properties to minorities, or is currently being sued by the US Government for tax fraud, or is a moron that can’t even spell, or hires a secretary of state that says that the president is a moron, or said that the White House is a dump and the shittiest place he has ever been, or constantly praises dictators and mass murdering tyrants around the world and says that he has a special bond with Putin and Kim Jong un, or praises Hitler and Mussolini, or lies about the size of his inauguration crowd, or lies about his approval rating, or lies about the economy, or lies about what a great businessman he is, or goes bankrupt 6 different times, or has the lowest approval rating ever recorded for a president at this point in their administration, or has a cabinet with the highest turnover ever recorded, or appoints the biggest cabinet full of billionaires and millionaires this nation has ever seen (all of which are unqualified for the position they are in), or was accused by 20+ women of sexual assault compared to the 1 woman that has accused Biden of sexual assault (believe all women right? - and in Biden’s case even if it was true it was just a hug, but Trump has had over 20 women accuse him of sexual assault including full blown rape), or never once in his first 4 years in office went a single day without attacking someone on Twitter, or has been sued thousands of times for everything from sexual assault, harassment, race discrimination, tax evasion, scamming people, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.” <br><br>I liked the comment because I agree with it.<br><br>I got to work today and my boss asked me to come into her office. She told me that parents were upset and that my services were no longer needed. I’m heartbroken. I love my job and the kids I care for. I have to pick up my things on Monday and return everything that is “theirs”. I am planning on sending a letter to the parents explaining that I was let go because of a comment I made on a video of a speech given by Joe Biden and that I thought they should know because their kids were removed from my care abruptly.
