Why do we always assume a man raped a woman when a woman raped a man, it's a man?

It's 2024 and I am a 17 year old girl and I still get this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach when I see or hear news about a woman getting raped and the only thing that comes out of everyone's mouth is "Poor woman" and "he's a piece of shit", meanwhile a man is raped the only thing that comes out of everyone's mouth is "well what was she thinking?". We need to stop doing this.
