As someone who was born in Australia to a string of generations of Aussies, I shouldn't have a right to tell an Israeli how to vote, but I'm gonna do it anyway, as I have some stake in this election.

I've spent a number of years being based in Israel as a young adult, where I met my wife, who is the kindest person I know. That is how I am connected to Israel.

I can see that Israel is not perfect, but I would argue it is a LOT closer to a perfect nation than Australia, where I'm from.

I spent 10 years volunteering at my local fire brigade in Australia, but I didn't get anything for it, no special treatment, no benefits, no recognition, NOTHING. But the Africans who migrated to my city 5 years ago get handed everything, it's like they're worshipped.

I don't know if anyone else has seen the recent video of a Palestinian woman who says she loves Israelis because we showed her kindness, but it's crazy to see that we are the ones being colourful, while in my country everyone is treated like robots, and the immigrants are treated like Kings and Queens.

It's very clear in my eyes that the countries that are run by conservatives are far better places to live than the countries run by liberals. I just saw a video of a new immigrant to Israel, who said he came from "blue" Canada, and he was blown away by how much Israel was not like that.

I would beg of Israelis to not vote for these communists.

I'll end by quoting Menachem Begin, who said something along the lines of: "I would rather Israel be imperfect and free, than perfect and a dictatorship."

I know some will think this is a weird post, but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

I love Israel!!!
