Woman offended that I wouldn’t let her 'pet' me

So I’m in the army, I’m 18M. Commissioned this year.<br><br>Recently, during night training for a course, there was this one woman there, 30 something year old woman, who had signed up for the army as a commissioned officer like me. Anyway, she took a liking to me during a break and started touching my hair without my permission. I was just sitting there talking to my buddy and she just started petting me. <br><br>I politely asked her to stop, and told her it made me uncomfortable. She looked offended and walked off to a few other female peers of ours, and then she came back to me and said ‘sorry, I didn’t know you didn’t like being petted’. I told her again that it made me uncomfortable, and she said ‘well why would you let me pet you then if it made you so uncomfortable’? (In this tone like I was the one who had done something wrong because she was asking rhetorical questions). I said ‘I didn’t say I’d want to let you pet me, I’m just telling you I’m not your dog’ and she started to get up and walk away after I said that and then she looked at me and said ‘well you aren’t a real man’ and walked off. <br><br>I honestly couldn’t believe it. Her treatment towards me in front of everyone else and her ludicrous statement at the end just left me speechless. I was so offended by that, and the whole idea that I’m an animal to her that she can just pet and talk down to is sickening. No wonder they call women stupid, I’m still in shock over all this tbh
