Another story about skiving during a training day.

Our training days have gotten rather intense over the last few years, we’re a school run by some high up former MAT leaders and I guess they see us as their baby. I think this is why they have so many training days.<br> <br>Training days used to be ended by 1.00pm and you could go back to school after 3 to set up your room, ring parents, make phone calls, ring parents then ring parents and finally ring parents. Then they changed it to 3.00pm, then 4.00pm and now you have until 5.00pm.<br> <br>So the day before PD day I get a message from our maths leader. “hey OP, sorry for the inconvenience but we have moved your room around.<br> <br>I replied “oh?!”<br> <br>They replied “yes, you are no longer in your old room. I have placed you in room X instead. I’m sorry if this is an inconvenience but the kids have done their homework now and you won’t have to move anything around”<br> <br>I replied “Cool :)” with a smiley and a thanks.<br> <br>This morning I am about to set up my room when I get a whatsapp saying “hey, sorry OP but we moved your room back to the old room. I’m so sorry about the inconvenience and ended up moving wallpaper back around. I hope you understand and thanks for being so cool about it”<br> <br>I replied “it’s okay 🙂”<br> <br>At the moment I am sitting at my desk in my old room, surrounded by my old stuff and the walls are the same wall paper as they were when I first started last year.<br> <br>I don’t know what I did to deserve this but I’m still smug about it 😂
