You guys are no better than the "toxic weebs" when you discriminate against "normies" just because they don't like anime as much as you do

You guys will go on and on about how much you hate the term "weebs" and how much you hate people who go after normies. But whenever a normie joins the sub, they will get their post deleted or get downvoted to oblivion basically because "normies" do not like anime as much as you do.<br><br>I honestly see nothing wrong with confining your interests in a particular area, this sub for example is exclusively for the topic of anime.<br><br>I can see how the word "weeb" is seen as an insult, it *is* an insult. The fact that you guys enjoy Japanese media is okay, the fact that you guys like anime is also okay. I have no problem with that, I enjoy anime myself, it's entertaining, and it can be pretty good.<br><br>However, I will say that I find it incredibly hypocritical of you guys to go after the term "weeb" but have no problem when you go after normies. You guys will defend the term "otaku" and you guys will defend the term "anime fan" but you guys have no problem attacking normies. Like what the hell? You guys have literally no right to do that, calling you guys "weebs" is bad but calling normies normies is not? Like what the fuck is wrong with you people? You guys act like you're some kind of fucking victims, I mean what the hell? You guys are not a fucking minority, you guys are not oppressed.<br><br>You guys enjoy anime, that's fine. Doesn't mean that you should be able to attack normies just because they enjoy a different media medium than you do. Go after cartoons? That's okay! Go after live-action movies and television shows? That okay too! Go after video games? Still okay in your books! But go after anime? No, that's a big no-no! I mean what the actual hell?
