take the Yankee's organization, for instance.<br><br>Imagine if the Yankees were held to the same level of global scrutiny as Israel. There would be protests in streets globally any time they sign a white player (what a racist organization!), any time they draft a black player (how racist, you obviously have it out for black guys), any time they acquire a Latino pitcher (racist!), any time they give a black manager the boot (racist!), any time they promote a white player over a black one (racist!), any time they don't promote a white player over a black one (racist!), any time they don't sign a Japanese ballplayer despite their otherworldly stats (racist!).<br><br>People would be holding signs saying "Yankees kill non-white people" (which I guess they do, every time they give Aaron Judge a fastball down the middle). it would be all over Twitter (Yankees are so racist!), other sports teams would be having national conferences about the anti-racism movement. it would be a world-wide concern. <br><br>Now, imagine Yankee fans coming to their defense. imagine how you would feel if you saw this:<br><br> ours is a noble organization dedicated to a just cause, which is the primary reason I am a fan. But the Yankees are also a racist organization and this is a problem. It is so obvious. They could care less about non-white people. it is like they have it out for them! they could care less about their well-being or their safety. they think they are better than them, that they are a superior race. This is a problem! I am tired of other Yankees fans acting like this isn't the case. <br><br>let's suppose the Yankees ownership made a statement and said something like this:<br><br>"the Yankees organization is not a racist organization. we love people of all races and creeds. we would never attempt to harm anybody solely because of their race. any claims suggesting otherwise are patently false."<br><br>how would you feel?<br><br>you would probably feel like this:<br><br> the Yankees are an racist organization. They have been since day one and they will continue to be until the end of time. This is a problem. I am tired of other Yankees fans acting like this isn't the case.
