Do women really care about love, or are they just looking to be taken care of?

It's funny because I've been in several relationships where I felt like I was giving the majority of the effort, but always getting less back. I would constantly hear women say, "Oh, I love you so much." But if you ask them to do anything for you, they will inevitably get mad and tell you that they're not a servant. It's always seemed like women were only concerned with being taken care of and being catered to, and that they didn't really care about men at all.

Recently, I heard a woman say that if you give a woman flowers, she'll expect chocolates. If you give her chocolates, she'll expect roses. And if you give her roses, she'll expect a weekend getaway. This seems to be a very common mentality among women. I think they think they're entitled to being treated like queens, and they're not.

I think a lot of women are only in it for the material gain. They want to be married off to a good provider, and they want to have kids with a man who will be there to raise them. They want a good life, and they know that the only way to achieve that is by getting a man who can support them.

It makes me sad because I wish I could believe that women really did love us and want us to be happy, but I just don't think it's the case anymore. It's always seemed like women have had a bad hand in life, and they just want to be taken care of. And that's not fair to men.
