How difficult is it to date as a man without a driver’s license?

I’ve recently discovered that I have extreme spatial awareness and visual issues that have prevented me from successfully passing my driver’s test. Nobody ever suspected this because I’m good at other things that require spatial reasoning, such as mirror writing, jigsaw puzzles, and video games, but I’ve recently discovered that driving is just not for me and it makes my anxiety jump through the roof. I’ve tried practicing with apps, watching YouTube tutorials, and practicing on a car simulator, but I have come to the realization that this is not something I can overcome and I need to accept that I can’t drive. I’m 27 years old, single, and live in the US where it is basically required to have a driver’s license.

I’ve been told by my friends that dating is going to be impossible for me as a man, especially since I’m 5’5 and don’t make a lot of money. I’m worried that this is going to be a deal breaker for a lot of women, especially since I live in a suburban area and not in a big city where there is public transportation. I plan on moving to a big city after I finish my degree, but that won’t be for another 2 years.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did it turn out? How did your partner react to the news? Do you think this is going to be a massive turnoff for potential partners?
