I don't understand how some women can get married and stay married.

My dad has been with my mother for 36 years, they've been married for 36 years, and I just don't get how some women can be happy staying married to the same man for so long, even after all the years of being married.<br><br>My parents have a great relationship and are each others best friends. But I just don't understand why some women would choose to stay in a relationship with the same man for so long. It's just so weird. I think it's even weirder that they would choose to stay married to the same man for so long. <br><br>I'm sure some people will argue that a woman's worth is in her ability to make a home and be a wife/mom, but I don't think that's necessarily true. I think a woman's worth is in her ability to be able to support herself and her family financially, and to be able to provide for herself and her family.<br><br>So I guess my question is: why do some women choose to stay married to the same man for so long? And why would they choose to stay married to the same man for so long?
