In the US, add your name to the "do not call list" for your state AND the federal one, the numbers are different and it does work

One of the coolest things about moving to a new state is adding your number to my new state’s do not call list. I get maybe 5-10 spam calls a day. After I put it on the list, it dropped to 1-2 a day.

Edit: I did this before putting my number on the national registry, and it has literally been 4 days since a spam call has rolled in, the numbers are different, so I assume it works.

Edit 2: I should add that this is for everyone who’s adding on the IG post, because I highly doubt IG will let me reply in the comment section.

Edit 3: I had to make an account just to share this. We have this in the US too. All you have to do is look up your state government, go to their website and search for “no call list.” I added mine to this list several years ago and I’ve maybe had 2 spam calls in the past year. In fact, I get so few calls that when I see a local number, I immediately answer it because I’m worried someone is dead or dying.
