We gotta talk

I'm afraid some of you may not like what I'm about to say.<br><br>By now you gotta have seen the shit that came out about China. I'm somewhat on the fence about it. On one hand mass censorship and propaganda are a big part of the CCP's info structure. But on the other hand the Chinese certainly don't have a lack of anti-American sentiment.<br><br>Whether or not you believe it the Chinese certainly do. The CCP will use this to fuel a nationalist fire and use it as an excuse to do whatever the hell they want. When the Chinese see anti-Chinese sentiment they don't see the nuance between the CCP and the people. They see Americans hating the Chinese and that's it.<br><br>But the point I'm trying to make isn't about the validity of the claims it's about what's going to happen as a result. As much as I hate to say it the mass anti-Chinese sentiment is going to get worse, not better. It's going to show itself in a million different ways, from increased anti-Chinese legislation on the policy level to a surge in sinophobia on a personal level.<br><br>On the policy level we've seen it already. Fuck, we saw it during COVID. The pandemic was a convenient excuse for a bunch of racist bullshit.<br><br>Whether or not you believe in the validity of the claims the CCP is going to have a field day with this. They're going to have to answer to their own people about this. They're going to have to take action. It's clear what the result is going to be.<br><br>Now you're going to have even more of a reason to do all this anti-Chinese shit you love so much. Who cares if the Chinese are going to get fucked in the process? This is about universal justice.<br><br>But it's not. That's not going to be the result.<br><br>I don't know how many of you have been following international news but the Chinese are going absolutely fucking crazy and it's only going to get worse.<br><br>The Chinese, much like the Americans, are also shitty to their own people. But they're going to get even shittier.<br><br>So if you're actually serious about bringing "justice" to China then maybe you should actually care about the Chinese. Maybe you shouldn't be fueling a fire that's going to result in harm to Chinese citizens.<br><br>But then again I suspect a lot of you don't give a shit.
