Twitter to expand character limit to 4,000

Twitter is to increase the number of characters allowed in a tweet to 4,000, in a major change to its platform.<br><br>The social media giant said the update would allow users to express themselves more easily.<br><br>Twitter has been testing the change for several months and said it will roll out globally “in the coming weeks”.
