If I have to jump through 90 hoops just to apply, then still give 3 years of my life to a company and they think I won’t dare quit if they don’t pay me fairly, they’re in for a rude awakening.

Edit because I think there is some confusion: this is a relatively new company, they are briefly in the news (and highly praised by the CEO), and everyone else is paying significantly more. I know I can’t be the only one being underpaid.

I am extremely good at what I do and provide proof with every application. I am good at creating a resume, I am great at interviews, and I’ve done a ton of research. I have turned a cold application into a good interview and a job offer before.

My last career was one that did not pay much and I left for that reason. I am in my 30’s and I have student loans and a child- I don’t have time for underpaid career starts anymore.

I’m pretty sure the real answer is I should just move into a field that pays a bit lower (like half) but also doesn’t require three years of service. My only problem is I know I can do it, I’ve done it before, and I’m getting a little bored with my current job.
