CMV: The US is now an enemy of the people of China.

I am a Chinese who has lived in both China and the US. I was a huge supporter of the US, and enjoyed the time I lived there. Being a Chinese, I was a Shanghainese, who is notoriously infamous for shamelessly flaunting our wealth, wealth that was built on international business and international connections. We had been treating the relationship with the US as a treasure or even a life line. <br><br>**What changed?**<br><br>Well. Now we are under the enemy US has made. <br><br>The US promised the Taiwanese that all Taiwanese are Americans under the Eyes of God. The Taiwanese are now openly calling for death of all mainland Chinese. It does not matter if you are pro or anti Xi. <br><br>If you are Chinese, you and your family and your relatives are targets of hate, murder, and death threats. <br><br>If I say I am from Shanghai or Beijing or Guangdong or Jiangxi, I am immediately under attack on the internet and in person in the US. Your employers will fire you in an instant. Your clients will stop doing business with you if they know your political view. <br><br>The US is openly trying to push Taiwan to declare formal independence. If that happens. China-US war is all but inevitable. A war that will ruin both countries and the world. <br><br>The US has openly threatened war on mainland China. The war will not be a war on the CCP. It will be a war on every single mainland Chinese. The war will be a total war, and it will kill tens of millions. Taiwanese will kill mainland Chinese given a chance. Taiwanese already do that now. Your average Taiwanese would not care if China is turned into rubble and ash. It is mainstream view in Taiwan that China should be nuked into oblivion. <br><br>A war with China will turn the world into an apocalyptic wasteland. It will kill hundreds of millions. But the mainstream in the US has supported this apocalyptic war. Biden has signed a law saying the US will consider China its biggest enemy until 2032. The Pentagon openly calls China an Enemy. <br><br>So we treat the US as an enemy now. <br><br>What was the reasoning behind the US declaring China an enemy? China was on the path to become the world's biggest economy. China just simply worked harder than others, saved more, invested more. China lifted 800 million people out of poverty. It seemed the biggest threat to the average American was Chinese getting rich.<br><br>China had no history of invading countries. China had never invaded a country without being attacked first in the first place. China has a proud tradition of fighting to the last man against invaders. China has never been conquered by an invader. China was an independent nation since day 1. All empires tried to invade China but none succeeded. <br><br>Now the world's biggest power has declared the world's upcoming biggest power an enemy. If the US is so eager to fight a war on China, we will fight to the end. We will not surrender. If we are to be treated as enemies, then we will treat the US an arch enemy. We are not sorry. <br><br>So, can anyone change my view? Or can anyone tell me why I am wrong?
