Facing a recession, depression, the loss of jobs, the loss of homes, the loss of healthcare, the loss of food, the loss of clothes, the loss of dignity, the loss of respect, the loss of pride, the loss of happiness, the loss of freedom, all in the name of protecting our freedom.<br><br>If the media really cared about the people, they would not glorify war. They would not try to make war look cool, sexy, and exciting. They would not try to make war look fun and entertaining. They would not try to make war look like sports. They would not try to make war look like a game. If the media really cared about the people, they would show war for what it really is. They would show the long term effects on the human psyche. They would show the devastating affects on the environment. They would show the effects on the economy, infrastructure, and jobs. They would show the affects on the people who are caught in the cross-fire of war. If the media really cared about the people, they would not try to make war look like a necessity. They would show that war is not a necessity.
