How can you tell if a woman is lying?

I've been in relationships with women where they lied to me about things that seemed pretty insignificant. But at the end of the day, it's all a matter of trust. If you can't trust them with something that doesn't seem that important, what's to say you can trust them with something that does?

But the problem is, I don't know how to figure out if they're lying. I'll ask them a question and they'll say yes or no to it. But then I'll ask another question to test their first answer. And the answer to that question will be the opposite of their first answer.

And I'll be sitting there like "which is it? Is it yes or is it no? And if it's no, why did you lie about it to me?"

I know I can't force them to tell the truth. They'll just say "I lied because you make me feel bad" or some bullshit like that. So what's the point of even trying to get them to be honest?

I've read online that the best way to figure out if someone is lying is to pay attention to their body language. Like if their eyes dart away or their voice cracks. But I'm not a body language expert. I'm just a dude with basic social skills and no training in detecting lies.

So what advice would you give me if you were in my shoes? How do you figure out if a woman is lying?
