What's the most insidious part about feminism?

For me, it's not the women's empowerment. It's not the misandry. It's the complete lack of awareness of it.

Women can talk about how men are oppressive, they can protest male empowerment, they can shame men for being masculine. And they will be unfazed when men point this out.

In fact, they'll just say that men are being oppressive by pointing it out. That men are being patriarchal. They'll say that men need to be more empathetic, that we need to shut up.

And men will be told that we need to be more masculine. That we're being too much like women. Because of course, women are the gold standard for humanity.

What really grinds my gears is that it's all presented as if it's not a double standard. It's not presented as if they're being hypocritical. They will not acknowledge that they are being hypocritical, and they won't acknowledge that they're double standarding. Instead, they will shame you for pointing this out, calling you a sexist. They will say that you're the one that's being illogical, that you're being emotional, that you're being too much like a woman (despite the fact that women are the ones who are being illogical and emotional).

And then they will say that men need to be more masculine, because being masculine is a bad thing. That we should be more like women, because being like a woman is a good thing. Because obviously, women are the superior sex. And if you don't conform to what they want you to be, they'll shame you. They'll call you a loser. They'll tell you that you're bad.

And they will not acknowledge that this is a problem. They will not acknowledge that they're being oppressive. They won't acknowledge that they're the ones who are being illogical, that they're the ones who are being hypocritical.

They'll just keep doing this, and expecting men to conform. They'll expect men to be like women, they'll expect us to be more feminine. Because women are the superior sex, and men are inferior to women. That's the narrative. And if you don't conform to this narrative, you'll be shamed. You'll be called a loser. You'll be told that you're bad.

And this is the most insidious part about feminism.
