Why do incels hate red pill? (I asked this question in /c/ChapoTrapHouse and got some useful answers)

I asked this question in /c/ChapoTrapHouse and got some useful answers so I wanted to post this here also.<br><br>The whole point of the ChapoTrapHouse subchambers is to discuss and critique capitalism, culture, politics, economics, whatever from a communist perspective. The whole subchambers is built around the idea of the "redpill" as a metaphor of waking up to how fucked up our society is and that we need to tear it down. In contrast, the incel sub is built around the idea that women have ruined society and men should either be aggressive towards them or give up on them entirely. <br><br>In my experience, incels are not anti-capitalist, and many of them even celebrate capitalism in the sense that they see women as commodities who should be bought and sold on the market. Incels also seem to be obsessed with the idea of how women are ruining society, and that they need to be destroyed or fought against.<br><br>So why do incels hate the term red pill when they are obsessed with the idea of how women have ruined society? The term red pill is just a metaphor for how society is fucked up, not a call to war or hatred.
