My girlfriend wants to go to the USA but I hate giving money to America

So my girlfriend wants to travel to the USA. And I'm not really keen on it.<br><br>Now it's important to mention that I'm Swedish and that our mental political climate is fairly left, and I think that most of us Swedes generally thinks of the USA as a stupid and ignorant country, especially after the last 5 or 6 years. And I'm not really that keen to give away my fairly hard earned money to a country where half of its citizens still thinks that Trump was a great leader.<br><br>She wants to travel to California and Nevada and visit San Fransisco, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon, Los Angeles, Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. And I think that's fair enough. She gets to visit these places, and we get to spend time together while travelling, which is always nice. And even though I would never go to America by myself, I'm more than happy to follow.<br><br>We're thinking about going in March '24. And at this point we have decided that we will only stay at locally owned hotels and B&B's. We will only eat at local owned restaurants, and we won't visit any places that has anything to do with the big Hollywood or Silicon Valley companies.<br><br>So my question is, how can you travel through California and Nevada without giving money to big companies or American billionaires?
