AITA for being mad at the guest in my house for wearing a dirty olympic onesie to church?

My family recently hosted the gold medal gymnast in our town for a dual sport (gymnastics and running). He stayed with us for a couple of days. My dad even paid for him to take a Ferrari out for a spin.

He was a really cool guy and a great sport about everything. We took a lot of pictures and he even let my kids train in his shoes.

Today is Sunday Funday in our house, which means we all go to church. I texted the guest that service time started at 9:30 am, and we'd meet him there. When we found him, he was wearing a big smile, Olympic medals, and an old dirty gray onesie, which I assume was from his Olympic opening ceremony?

I love a good fashion statement, and he's a WORLD CHAMPION ATHLETE. But church isn't the place to make a statement.

I asked him politely to change, but he said church is the perfect time and place to make a statement. I asked him to at least take off his medals and he refused.

I left church feeling angry and disgusted, not because he was nackt or had his freakin feet hanging out of the onesie, but because he made a big display about training with the kids and I immediately had to explain to my 4 kids why the athlete wasn't dress appropriately for church.

AITA?
