How would space travel and exploration change if instead of the solar system just ending there's infinite emptiness of space outside our solar system?

If instead of the solar system just ending where it does, let's say with Neptune, and instead of just galaxies and other celestial objects in the vastness of space there's infinite emptiness outside of our solar system would space travel and exploration change if Earth ever reached the point to explore outside of our solar system, assuming the technology is there to do so. <br><br>Assuming the emptiness just goes on for eternity with no stars, planets or any celestial objects light years and light years away from us.
