How do I get an American visa?

As a non-American, I feel I have done my part to try to stop Trump being re-elected - but it's not enough. It's not enough because the situation in America is dire right now. As a result, I've decided that if Trump is re-elected, I'm coming to live in America for a year to do my best to stop him in person. I'm not American, though - I live in Europe. So I want to get an American visa for at least a year. Which visa is right for me?
