Was the Jussie Smollett hoax actually a publicity stunt to create a false narrative and shift blame for crime from criminals to racist white men?

When the Jussie Smollett hoax came to light, it created an anti-leftist narrative and shifted blame for the spike in crime onto “woke” culture. What if, it was a publicity stunt from the beginning to get everybody to talk about racism and “misogyny” while ignoring the root cause of the problem. This false narrative only seemed to benefit the left. It provided them with more ammo against “MAGA people” and a temporary reprieve from their failing economy. What if, this was actually coordinated at a high level. We know that the left is willing to sacrifice their own people for political gain.
